    The World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (CSCE, formerly WORLDCOMP), initially the World Congress in Applied Computing (WCAC), quasi-successor of the the International Multiconference in Computer Science and Computer Engineering (IMCSE), the International Multiconference (in Computer Science), a series of International Conferences, and the International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Processing Techniques and Applications (PDPTA), is a gathering of researchers in computer science, computer engineering and applied computing. It is composed of 20+ conferences (all held simultaneously, same location and dates) providing research presentations, keynote lectures, invited presentations, tutorials, panel discussions, and poster presentations.

    WCAC was established in 2005, IMCSE in 2003 or 1995. In 2005 they have been organized almost together in the last two weeks of June, in the same location. In 2006 they merged to form WORLDCOMP, which became CSCE in 2017.3)
