The biennial Knowledge on a Mission (KOAM) is a free, day-long event sponsored by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of The World Bank Group. It brings together executives from large organizations (in both private sector and non-profit domains), international knowledge practitioners & operational staff, and independent high-level knowledge specialist interested in applying successful knowledge-based solutions from different domains to their own organizations’ challenges.
At least from 2015 to 2018 KOAM was part of the IFC KNovember learning events. In general it is organized the day after the Knowledge Management and Enterprise Solutions Conference (KMWorld) but it is not officially associated with it. Since 2022 KOAM is promoted as biennial event.
