Knowledge Management Job Hunting Strategies?

Im still in the midst of the job hunt and it is frustrating. Linkedin and The Ladders have me pigeonholed into defense jobs and im trying to break out of that if possible.
With all the tremendous KM work we read about here, RealKM, and elsewhere, it is clear Im missing out on a much broader pool of KM options and opportunities. Any ideas that can steer me towards a place that I can apply my skills and abilities? Anyone looking for a KMer?
