2) The Faculty of Computing and Informatics was formerly known as Faculty/School of Computing
3) The MSc in Information and Knowledge Management is the successor of the MSc in Information Science (Information & Knowledge Management); Previously it was delivered by the Department of Information Science at the College of Natural Science (CNS)
4) The College of Natural Science, formerly the Faculty of Natural & Information Sciences, was established in 2009 due to a re-structuring of the Faculty of Education.
4) The Department of Information Science was established 2005/6 as Department of Library and Information Science; Name changes: Department of Information Studies (2006/7) and Department of Information Science (2008/9); It was located at the Faculty of Natural and Information Science (2005-09), at the Institute of Technology (2009-11) and at the College of Natural Sciences (2011-present)
