1) Since 1995 the University of Turku has been a member of the Coimbra Group
2) Turku School of Economics (est. 1950; Finnish Turun kauppakorkeakoulu) merged with the University of Turku in 2010.
3) Since 2003, the GITM masters program is offered by the Information Systems Science Unit of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, School of Economics, University of Turku, Finnland. Since 2017 the BIKMA double degree option is offered in collaboration with the School of Information Management (SIOM) of the Central China Normal University, China.
Students get one degree from Turku School of Economics (either a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration (M.Sc.(Econ. & Bus. Adm.)) or a Master of Science (M.Sc.)) and a Master of Science in Management degree from SIOM. First year's studies are held in Finnland, the rest in China. Language of instruction is English.
