The International Conference on Collaboration Technologies and Systems (CTS), formerly the International Symposium on Collaborative Technologies and Systems (2003-2010) and the Collaborative Technologies (and Systems) Symposium (1999-2002), includes invited presentations by experts from academia, industry, and government as well as contributed paper presentations describing original work on the current state of research in collaboration technologies, collaboration systems, the Internet of things, people social networks and media, virtual worlds, services computing, social clouds, and related issues. There will also be tutorial sessions, symposia, workshops, special sessions, demos, panels and forums, posters, doctoral dissertation colloquium, and exhibits.
Workshops of special interest:
- 2016: Knowledge Technologies for Open Innovation (KTOI)
The objective of this multidisciplinary workshop is to gather both researchers and practitioners, coming from different disciplines (e.g., economics, engineering, sociology, management and organization) to discuss methodological, technical and organizational aspects related to the adoption of Knowledge Technologies in collaborative innovation ecosystems, discussing also the impact that Knowledge Technologies may have on shaping smarter systems and organizations. - 2011-2012: International Workshop on Knowledge Management and Collaboration (KMC)
The objective of this multidisciplinary workshop is to gather both researchers and practitioners to discuss methodological, technical and organizational aspects of collaboration technologies and systems used for knowledge management, knowledge discovery, mining, feedback of knowledge Management applications, and especially using collaboration techniques for Knowledge Management and employing Knowledge Management to increase effective collaboration. A second aspect would be how to use collaboration systems and technologies in Knowledge Management and discovery. - 2006, 2008: Workshop on Collaborative Knowledge Discovery in Databases (CKDD06) / Workshop on Collaborative Distributed Knowledge Discovery (CDKD08)
2006: The goal of the workshop is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of most recent advances, both emergent and mature ideas, in the methods and techniques for collaborative data mining and knowledge discovery in databases, and to identify the short- and long-term research directions in the field.
2008: The goal of the workshop is to provide a forum for presentation and discussion of most recent advances and challenges, both emerging and mature ideas, in the methods and techniques for collaborative data mining and knowledge discovery in databases, and to identify the short- and long-term research directions in the field.
