  • Global Peter Drucker Forum (GPDF)*
      The Global Peter Drucker Forum (GPDF) is an international management conference dedicated to the philosophy of Peter Ferdinand Drucker (* 1909 Vienna, Austria; † 2005 Claremont, USA), the father of modern management, who coined the term knowledge worker among other things. The Forum was launched in 2009 on the occasion of Drucker’s 100th birthday. Since then it is held annually in Vienna, Drucker’s city of birth. Since 2010 the forum is held in conjunction with the Peter Drucker Challenge (PDC), an essay contest open to young business leaders. (in 2013 and 2014 incl. a video contest). Since 2022 the forum is sponsored and organized by the Vienna Center for Management Innovation (VCMI).
