Notes:

1) The International Conference on Networked Learning (NLC) originated at the Universities of Seffield (Centre for the Study of Networked Learning) and Lancaster (Department of Management Learning) with Sheffield organizing the conference in 1998, co-organizing it from 1998-2004, and Lancaster co-organizing it from 2000-2018. Aalborg joined 2010 and is continuing to lead the NLC organization in 2020
2) The teaching (MSc) programs at the Department of Business and Management (formerly the Department of Business Studies) are organized by the School of Business, formerly the School of Business and Economics, but led by the IKE Research Group.
3) In 1995 established by research groups from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and Aalborg University (AAU). Later joined by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU)
4) The PhD program is affiliated with the cross-institutional research network DRUID (see 3)
