Notes:

1) KIMPS, initiated by the eKnowledgeCenter (eKC), merged with the Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro) to become the Knowledge and Innovation Management Professional Society (KMPro) in mid-2002. In 2004 the society was renamed to Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro) again.
2) In 2000, the Knowledge Management Certification Board (KMCB) was created by the Certified Knowledge and Innovation Management Professional Society (CKIMPS), initiated by the eKnowledgeCenter. In 2001 CKIMPS became the Knowledge and Innovation Management Professional Society (KIMPS) which merged with the Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro) in 2002. In 2005 the KMCB was disbanded and incorporated within KMPro and replaced by the KMPro KM Credentialing Committee (KMCC).
