The IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT), follow up conference series of the 2000 IEEE International Workshop on Advanced Learning Technologies (IWALT), is an annual international conference on Advanced Learning Technologies and Technology-enhanced Learning organized by IEEE Computer Society and IEEE Technical Committee on Learning Technology (TCLT).
ATTENTION!
Don’t mix up this conference series with the one of the same name organized by the World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology (WASET). WASET is a predatory conference organizer and publisher.
Recurring tracks of special interest:
- 2014-2015: Knowledge Management in e-Learning (KMeL)
The Knowledge Management in e-Learning (KMeL) aims to provide a forum for academics and practitioners to explore issues related to use, analysis, design, and evaluation of technology-based approaches for learning and knowledge management in various educational, organizational and community environments as well as the impact of technology on improving learning and performance at individual, organizational and community levels. - 2007-present: Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL; 2007-2008: CSCL technologies)
The Computer Supported Collaborative Learning track provides a unique opportunity for researchers and practitioners who work in the broader area of technology-enhanced collaborative learning to present their latest work from a technological, empirical, theoretical, conceptual and design-based perspective. It reflect state-of-the-art research advances spanning both the technological dimension (design and development of CSCL tools) and the pedagogical perspective (implementation of CSCL tools in authentic contexts, impact of CSCL approaches, empirical results and valuable reflections).
