The Konferenz »Lernen. Wissen. Daten. Analysen.« (LWDA) is a joint conference and workshop week of several special interest groups (SIG, German: FG – Fachgruppen) and working groups (WG, German: AK – Arbeitskreise) of the German Computer Science Society (German: Gesellschaft für Informatik), addressing research in the areas of knowledge discovery, machine learning, information retrieval, database systems, knowledge management, etc.
The German acronym LWDA stands for “Learning, Knowledge, Data, Analytics”, which changed during the times:
- Lernen – Wissen – Adaption (LWA) 2007-2015
- Lernen, Wissensentdeckung und Adaptivität (LWA) 1999, 2004-2006
- Lehren – Lernen – Wissen – Adaptivität (LLWA) 2003
- Lehren – Lernen – Adaptivität (LLA) 2002
- Lernen – Lehren – Wissen – Adaptivität (LLWA) 2000-2001
Participating Special Interest Groups (FG – Fachgruppen) and Working Groups (AK – Arbeitskreise) since 1999:
Following the tradition of the last years, LWDA provides a joint forum for experienced and young researchers, to bring insights to recent trends, technologies and applications and to promote interaction among the special interest groups. The conference program will consist of workshops organized by the involved special interest groups as well as several invited talks.
