1) From 1958 - 1971 CSUN was known as the San Fernando Valley State College, a Valley satellite campus of the Los Angeles State College (now known as California State University, Los Angeles)
2) The Master of Knowledge Management program started as a Master of Science in Library Science and evolved into the Master of Knowledge Management; Established in spring 2006 on-campus (ever launched?), online in fall 2007 (online/distance learning Master's Degree in Knowledge Management); The program is sponsored by ExL and the University Library in collaboration with the departments of Business Law and Systems Operations Management in the College of Business and Economics, the Department of Computer Science in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and the Department of Political Science in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences;
2010-2019: available for contract only (i.e. for employers who wish to commission and fund an exclusive cohort of the program for its employees);
2020: Re-launch of the online/distance learning Master's Degree in Knowledge Management (in partnership with the College of Humanities)
