Notes:

1) In 2000, the Knowledge Management Certification Board (KMCB) was created by the Certified Knowledge and Innovation Management Professional Society (CKIMPS), initiated by the eKnowledgeCenter. In 2001 CKIMPS became the Knowledge and Innovation Management Professional Society (KIMPS) which merged with the Knowledge Management Professional Society (KMPro) in 2002. In 2005 the KMCB was disbanded and incorporated within KMPro and replaced by the KMPro KM Credentialing Committee (KMCC). Roots of the KMCB may be in the Knowledge Management Certification Committee created by the Knowledge Management Consortium International (KMCI) in the begining of 2000.
2) Certification Training Schools to Help Pass the Exam: eKnowledgeCenter (eKC) (until 2002) / Innovation Management Institute International (IMII) (since 2002); Knowledge Management Profesional Society (KMPro) (since 2002)
